What is Artist Entrepreneurs?
Artist Entrepreneurs (Artist-E) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping working artists with the tools, education and community they need to turn their creativity into sustainable income. Through coaching, workshops, and collaborative projects, we help artists move from passion to profession.
-
Who is this for?
Any artist who wants to earn from their work. Beginners who have never sold a piece, and artists who have been selling for years but hit a ceiling. All mediums, all career stages. You don't need a degree, a gallery, or a certain level of sales to join us.
-
What do you offer?
Four things: workshops on the business side of art, one-on-one coaching for your specific practice, a community of artists working through the same challenges, and free guides you can use right away. Start anywhere. Most artists begin with a workshop or a free resource and go deeper from there.
-
What does it cost?
Many of our resources are free. Workshops are priced to be affordable, and we offer [scholarships / sliding scale] for artists who need help covering the cost. Money should not be the reason an artist can't get support.
-
Can we partner with you?
Yes. We work with events, arts organizations, cities, and local businesses to bring artist programming into communities. That has looked like workshops at major events, public art installations, community projects, and keynote talks. If you're planning something where artists are involved, we'd like to hear about it. How can I get involved?
Artists come to us regardless of what they can pay, and that's possible because people fund it. Your support pays for workshop seats, coaching hours, and free resources that reach artists who couldn't otherwise afford help. You can give directly, sponsor a program, or bring us into your community.
